The VMHLC Ambassador Program empowers Veterans, family members, and allies to become local leaders and national messengers. With training, tools, and support, Ambassadors bring this movement to life — state by state.
Ambassadors Are:

Trained to speak with media, policymakers, and the public on behalf of VMHLC.

Equipped with a toolkit of facts, stories, and engagement strategies.

Supported through monthly check-ins, coaching, and collaboration.
Becoming a VMHLC State Ambassador is both an honor and a responsibility. Ambassadors are not just storytellers—they are changemakers, trusted voices, and frontline leaders who work in a collaborative effort with the VMHLC in our national movement to transform Veteran mental health care.

Veterans who have walked through trauma, led with integrity, and are ready to lead others toward healing.

Family Members who’ve supported loved ones through the invisible wounds of war and believe in the power of new solutions.

Clinicians with trauma-informed, Veteran-centered practices and a commitment to innovation in mental health care.

Allies who have consistently shown up for this community—through advocacy, service, or leadership.
